I made a ‘decorative spline’, in a spline miter joint. Where instead of hiding and cutting the spline, the most important part of the joint connection, I made it the main aspect of the sculptural wood piece. The goal of this piece was to connect and use many different woodworking techniques learned and create a piece that was guided by the process of working.
