Thinking about mixing traditional East Asian woodblock techniques with my modern practices in clothing making. I designed and hand carved a repeated pattern unit, and designed a garment around it. I also experimented with the properties of oil based printmaking ink, and tested wear-ability and wash-ability. This was my first time pattern making and constructing without the help of a 3D software.
